Crafting is everything for mental health!

Years ago, if I looked at this picture, I would say I did not like it. Of course, I would give it lots of reasons. Women most of the time do not agree much with themselves. So, it is not the point; let’s talk about being artisan in another country with different culture and maintaining good mental health.

Okay, I’m not at home anymore. I woke up from a deep sleep, and I rescued my gift in a culture different from mine, which gave me a big challenge.

It had been quite the journey back along this road. Because, it is difficult to get suitable raw materials, speak a new language, and create art that both meets the needs of the community and the their desires. That, of course, did not make me give up. I like crafting and I love challenges. It’s a little easier now that I’ve made the decision to work with recycled materials; I was able to transform my craft ideas into a sustainable goods. this materials I can obtain them anywhere. People now embrace my ideas and support me more than when I started to work on these projects.

Sometimes people look at me and ask, What do you create? I used to say that I create lots of things and don’t have exactly one line of creations. I used to create what came into my mind, and my mood allowed me to do so.

Everything inspire me. No limit to my art!

Weird! but this is the truth. Sometimes I would love to say I create only jewelry, and I have a passion only for it.

Unfortunately, I can’t lie to myself. I can’t concentrate only on the type of product.
When I am doing my work, I believe my soul leaves my body, and when it returns, I feel that I am in ecstasy, and I feel so happy, which makes me create a mix of things.

So, I classify myself as an artisan with a free-work style. I do not need to be on only one route; I can fly everywhere I want. I have a free spirit.

This initial image demonstrates a significant advancement in my art, and it only proves that I am capable of being anywhere. That day I had a lot of feelings that my journey was starting in this country in positive way.

The most important thing on that day was that my art was out of my comfort zone, and it brought out my ideas. The relevant point of the night was that I was able to show people through my art that it is possible to consume sustainably.

My work is therapy and sustainability. I love crafts; it gives me freedom.

What do you do to maintain your mental health?
